Topics and IDT

If your studying Instructional Design & Technology I'm sure you have all been asked this questions.

Well what does a IDT do?

My blog will not only explain what a Instructional Designer & Technologist does, but I will also give my input on the challenges, tools and current discussion involving IDT. My input will come from fellow blogger's that also have similar interest within the topic of Instructional Design & Technology. You may notice that I have three blogger's bookmarked on my homepage. The first blogger is Christy Tucker, I think her blog is interesting because one particular blog she addresses the very question I put above. She also discuss various learning methods among many other topics involving IDT.

The next blogger I booked mark is Hannah H. Reeves. I think she too will also be a successful source regarding this topic. The blog that attracted me to her was one entitle Social Media Part 1: Whats in Your Network? I personally enjoyed this blog because she discuss how the use of social media has removed us from having face to face interaction to communicating now through internet sites like facebook, myspace, twitter and various other sites. Although she did not mention those sites through her writing you could clearly see the direction she was going to. If you have time browse her blogs as she touch on some very interesting topics.

The final blogger I bookmarked is an individual name Cathy Moore. From I have seen thus far she does not believe that IDT will last. It seems that she believe that ID was a trend that faded out. Instead she believe that e-learning will be the front runner I also agree with her, however I believe that you can't have e-learning without using IDT. This is my first time blogging, so some of you may feel that this is a rough blog. However I assure you that I will provide accurate and informative incite regarding the IDT community.
